Oxygen Park Warsaw – A modern office building with green walls reaching six floors.
Oxygen Park Warsaw design process was extremely difficult from the beginning. The idea behind the office building was to put as much greenery as possible in each floor's stairwell. Furthermore, the greenery was to be visible from the courtyard. The building was designed from the start to be defined by a modern approach to office buildings, combining excellent location, simple access, welcoming surroundings, and practicality. Oxygen Park is a two-story office building located directly on Jerozolimskie Avenue that offers cutting-edge solutions for efficiency and job comfort [Link to Oxygen Park website].

The complex's construction began in October 2011 and was completed in the fourth quarter of 2013. The building is a development project by Yareal Poland. It was built by RD bud of Warsaw, and the architectural concept was created by JEMS Architekci studio. Greenarte, a vertical garden company, was entrusted with the internal vegetation layout. Many elements contribute to workplace comfort, the most important of which is the presence of greenery. Oxygen Park is an incredibly well thought structure – aesthetically uniform, completed with high quality materials, and diligently constructed. At the building's entrance, there is a green patio that can be used for resting, holding meetings, and giving tenants a friendly place to work.
Vertical gardens that can be seen from the courtyard are another distinctive feature. On each floor, there are green walls next to the interior glass facades. So, when we step off the elevator, we can see the beautiful greenery on the walls, the green pots, and the patio in the middle of the building complex. The complex's visual consistency and comfort have also won it BREEAM accreditation.
From the start, the vertical gardens were meant to be the most interesting part of the complex. Each floor features two green mirrored walls. Vertical gardens with glass facades allow you to view the greenery both during the day and at night, when the plants are lighted by specialized lighting that allow photosynthesis. The major species used on the green walls were chosen to provide the impression of a natural jungle. As a result, plants such as Philodendron cordatum, Epipremnum aureum, Aglaonema ‘Maria' and Monstera deliciosa were chosen.
