Concordia Design Hub – World's Best Office Building of the Year 2021

In 2021, Concordia Design was awarded first place in the “offices” category in the Building of the Year poll announced by the ArchDaily portal

The building's architectural idea was created by MVRDV, one of the most renowned Dutch design studios. The exact design was created in collaboration with the Wroclaw architectural company Q2Studio. The four-story townhouse on Ostrow Tumski, which dates from the nineteenth century, has been rebuilt with historical components on the front facade – witch a modern block with glass on the side of Sodowa Island. Concordia design Hub – THE ONLY VERTICAL GARDEN ON THE ROOF IN POLAND

The building's fifth floor has an outdoor patio with a steel-framed pergola and a glass balustrade. In the center, there is one of Poland's largest vertical gardens, measuring 360 square meters and built in collaboration with Greenarte company from Wroclaw. The plant composition includes 29 different plant species. Evergreen plants such as Bergenia corfifolia and Pachysandra terminalis cover more than half of the green wall. There are also many species of plantain lily, ferns, and sage on the vertical garden. If you look closely, you might also see a mountain pine, a rhododendron, and a hydrangea. It is also the only green wall in Poland, located on the roof of a public facility and sky garden in the city center.

Concordia Design also has a Sodowa bar on the roof where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and spend some time outside.Here you can also watch movies and go to concerts at the sky-high green wall.
